Scrumptious Chocolate Cake for Valentine’s Day

125g butter
200g quality dark cooking chocolate
4 eggs
250g Almond meal
225g caster sugar




1. Preheat the oven to 160˚C Grease and line a 22cm cake tin

2. Melt butter and chocolate in glass bowl over saucepan

3. Mix eggs with sugar until combined

4.  Add egg mixture to butter and chocolate mixture

5. Add almond meal then gently fold through 

6. Place into cake tin and bake for 45min in 160 oven

7.  Allow to cool and serve with fresh raspberries
